Who's Who at Pit Stop

Rob Clegg - Chair

Rob works with the North Halifax Partnership as the Company Secretary. He operates within the Government guidelines for improving the quality of lives of the people in the area. He also supports the management of programmes based around wellbeing and development of the residents and their surroundings. His wealth of management, project and budget skills are invaluable to the running of the Pit Stop organisation.

Anthony Howarth - Company Secretary

Anthony is Pit Stop's accountant. He handles all financial recording and transactions and keeps a very tight reigh on forecasting and spending. His advice and accounting skills are of paramount importance to the financial mangement of the organisation.

Anne Ashton - Director

Anne is a retired school teacher with a great number of years experience working alongside children of all ages. She is an active member of local politics and committees. Her political and school knowledge is a great asset to the organisation.

Gareth Perret - Director

Gareth is a retired Police Inspector, currently working as a Court Enforncement Officer. He was also the Community Liaison Officer for Calderdale during his time as an Inspector which gave him a wealth of experience of the needs and requirements of young peolpe and the community.

Bede Mullen - Director

Bede is a Senior Manager at the University of Central Lancashire. Originally trained as an enginner in North Tees and has been involved in education for many years. His vast experience in education management and knowledge of Government initiatives along with his engineering background are invaluable to the running of the Pit Stop organisation.

Linda Widdop - Director

Linda is a Financial Advisor whi is involved in helping to set up companies. She is experienced on the personnel front which continues to be a great asset to Pit Stop as the organisation expands.

Abdul Jabar - Director

Abdul is our representative from the Youth Offending Team in Calderdale and has a wealth of experience in working with young people. He advises us on our vulnerable young people who are at risk.

Dipanker Sen - Director

Dipanker had many years experience as a tax inspector and then practised as an accountant, business adviser and independent financial adviser. He has been both chair and member of numerous charitable organisations. His advice, ideas, contacts and wealth of experience are invaluable to Pit Stop in the management and future planning of the organisation.
